Refund and Returns Policy
BuyForYourBaby.com is the trading name of Baby Center SRLS.
We operate in compliance with European consumer protection law, including Directive 2011/83/EU on the right of withdrawal for distance contracts (14 days), as implemented in Italian consumer law.
Returns for unwanted items
We offer a 30-day return period from delivery for eligible products, in addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
Subject to our prior authorisation, the customer may return the product, provided that it is intact, unused, in its original packaging, and complete with all accessories and documentation.
Customers must contact customer service before returning any item; unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Costs and responsibilities
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in the case of defects, our error, or where otherwise required by law; we do not provide prepaid return labels.
The customer is responsible for packing the item properly in order to prevent damage during return transit.
Restocking fee
For non-defective returns, a 15% restocking fee will apply, unless otherwise required by law or where the issue is due to our error.
No restocking fee applies in the event of a defective product, incorrect item, or in any case where the law does not allow such fee to be charged.
Refund processing
Once the returned item has been received by our warehouse, a product integrity inspection will be carried out and, within 10 business days, the refund will be issued to the original payment method, less any applicable fee.
Original shipping costs are not refundable, unless otherwise required by law.
Exchanges and cancellations
For possible exchanges, please contact customer service first to verify stock availability.
Order cancellation can only be considered before shipment; for undelivered orders or parcels returned to sender, we may deduct any related costs incurred.
Non-returnable products
Where permitted by law, the following are non-returnable: used hygiene products, personalised items, sealed items opened for hygiene or safety reasons.
How to start a return
To start a return, please send an email to info@buyforyourbaby.com stating your name, order number, product received, and reason for the return.
You will receive all return instructions by email or WhatsApp.
